Joe Albers has lived and worked supporting the people of Guarjila, Chalatenango since 2000 through the Tamarindo Foundation and starting the Jon Cortina, SJ, scholarship program. His professional career has been focused on education access for underserved communities in the USA having most recently served as the Founding Principal of Cristo Rey San José Jesuit High School.

Luis is the co-founder of Grande Center, serving as Vice President of our Salvadoran operations. He grew up in a refugee camp during the Salvadoran Civil War and resides in Guarjila, Chalatenango. He brings extensive non-profit experience and oversees the day to day operations of all 3 projects: school, workforce initiative, and liaison to Grande Data Services. He is also the proud father of 3 children including his youngest daughter who is a 3rd grader at our school.
